YZ Asian Market

This Asian Market was the first one we visited when we moved to the area and it is still our go-to! They have a bigger selection than Kim’s, especially of produce, fish and meats. They also have a wider selection of kitchen products such as utensils, bowls, etc. They always have everything we need, including a sake set we recently went there for (and of course came out with way more the just the set)! They’re friendly and also have a nice selection of beverages, chilled and non chilled as well!

Love this store. My favorite thing to get is the freezer bags of tteokbokki for at home. I love going there in between clinics at work for lunch too if there’s time! Either quick snack or full meal. Everyone is wonderful and nevet had anything short of a great experience

Best Asian market in West Asheville!!! Isles and isles of food, staples, mochi, fresh seafood, cookware and dinner ware. Just look for yourself the massive quantity of items available and not just Asian food! Conviently located next to Mizu restaurant.

Holy noodles and mushrooms, there is so much wonderful stuff packed into this market. Sauces, sweets, veggies, frozen, funky things. We live 1.5 hours away, but we'll definitely be back to stock our pantry. 💥 Today I just made my second visit to the YZ Asian market, and it's every bit is good. It's actually too good, there's so much to choose from! They could probably make a killing by teaching Asian cooking lessons! There's an Asian restaurant connected to the store, so you can visit one or the other, or both!

Love this place. They excel in Chinese & SE Asian foodstuffs. Asiana Market generally has better produce, but YZ has a great fresh fish/crab/shellfish counter that Asiana market lacks. Plus Asiana market is way the hell & gone down Hendersonville Rd. I highly recommend YZ & I'm shopping there about once a week. Plus, I hit them heavy when I'm catering Asian.

This is the best selection in the area. The people are so friendly knowledge is key. We have been coming here for years. This place has saved my life on ingredients. I spent over five months in Southeast Asia one winter and this place helps me stay on my path and quest for great food as we all know in this community food is essential this place is a provider, we need them!
